What a relief

I was in india for close to a month and hadn’t watched a hindi movie in theater. It was a relief that at last I watched two movies last week and was happy to see the kind of hindi movies being made.

Rang de basanti…I think a must watch…a combination of dil chahata hai, the legend of bhagat singh and Yuva..so u guys can imagine..There are some hard hitting and thought provking lines in this movie. After watching such movies you feel like stop cribbing and rather than wanting a change, be the change that you want to see in society around you.

The other movie that I saw was Zinda..The thing I liked about the movie is it’s originality and very unpredictable twists. Also the casting was great with Sanjat Dutt and John Abraham fitting their characters very well.

Of later there have been a spat of very original movies being made in hindi. Iqbal, Hanuman and 15 park avenue to quote a few.

arre panda baba... zinda is a frame by frame copy of a 2003 korean movie called oldboy.so much for ur originality. the korean version is much more gruesome and stark. and i personally felt hanuman was good only for kids below 5 yrs.
